Wk 1 Spanish Courtyard project: I modeled modular building kit pieces in UE using the UE5 Modeling tools. To assemble the level I learned how to use Mega Assemblies and Blueprints.
Wk 2 Exterior lighting Project: the focus was to learn good lighting composition using the Atmospheric Sun and Sky to light the City of Brass level for morning and night.
Wk 3 Procedural Landscape Project: I experimented with the UE water system, created a landscape using the procedural landscape tools, setup a basic layered landscape material, and used the foliage tool.
Wk 4 Niagara Fire Particles Project: I learned how to use Niagara in UE5 to create a fire particle system from scratch.
Credits: Megascans were used for the props, foliage, materials, and decals for weeks 1,3 and 4. Week 2 used a level from Uppercut Games | City of Brass.
